Anfield, England will be hosting on Sunday 1st September 2013, an English Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United. The match referee will be Andre Marriner.
Liverpool made a very good start in the Premier League campaign. It made one win at home against Stoke, and followed that up with a win away against Aston Villa. Liverpool, though, had to play 120 minutes of League Cup play to defeat Notts County this midweek and after scoring 2 goals, it let County back into the game, which is something that Brendan Rodgers will not be happy about.
Liverpool will have to play without Kolo Toure (Central Defender), who has been great so far with solid defending, and also being a threat up front on set pieces. And it may also miss Aly Cissokho (Left back/Left Midfield). Also central defender Martin Skrtl who has been been injured is still in doubt. Sebastian Coates, central defender as well is out for the full season and fringe midfielder, Joe Allen, is probably out too.
Manchester United made a great win against Swansea 4-1. And against Chelsea in Old Trafford the game ended 0-0. Manchester has no new injury worries, though Hernandez (Striker), Fletcher (Midfielder),  Nani (wing) and Rafael (full back) are all still out.

Possible line-ups:
Liverpool ( 4-4-1-1): Mignolet; Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique; Lucas, Gerrard; Henderson, Aspas, Coutinho; Sturridge.
Manchester United (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Era; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Young; Van Persie.

The team stunned 3-1 by Los Angeles Galaxy in a pre-season tournament, and also lost on penalties to: Everton, Inter Milan and Milan AC. Jeventus has failed to give a good performance in any of its last four friendly matches and it has conceded 24 goals in 38 games last season. The Argentinian attacker is in line to make his competitive debut, while the former, Torino defender, will sit on the bench. Players Andrea Barzagli and Simone Pepe are unlikely to feature. But, Vucinic is set to play alongside Carlos Tevez.

The Biancocelesti has been boosted by the addition of midfielders: Lucas Biglia and Felipe Anderson from Anderlecht and Santos respectively.  And captain, Stefano Mauri, was banned for six months due to his part in a match-fixing scandal. Players: Modibo Diakite and Mauro Zarate have left the club during the summer and player Saha announced his retirement. Also, Brazilian newcomer Felipe Anderson will miss the match because of his ankle injury.

Sochaux vs Lyon 16-08-2013 French Ligue 1

Stade Auguste Bonal will be hosting on 16 August 2013, an French Ligue 1 match between Sochaux and Lyon. The match referee  will be Said Ennjimi.
Lyon will enter the game with 4 players missing: three were injured and one was suspended for a red card. Not having home pitch advantage, shouldn’t be a obstacle for the French team, which won 10/13 games and scored a total of 27 goals. Coach, Garde, will use a 4-5-1 starting formation with Benzia as the only striker, and three of the midfielders are frequently joining Benzia up front.
The other French team, Sochaux, will try to wear down the visiting team and count on the fact that Lyon will be facing Real Sociedad next week in a decisive double legged round. The team tried to garantee passage to the Champions League groups, which means that the visiting team will not throw everything they’ve got at Sochaux. So, to secure a draw, the hosting team will strengthen its defense.

Possible line-ups:
-FC Sochaux: S. Pouplin - S. Corchia, M. Peybernes, C. Kanté, J. Faussurier - J. Eickmayer, Carlao, R. Boudebouz, R. Contout - E. Butin, C. Bakambu.

Fenerbahçe team wasn't in its best form the first leg, as it was its first official fixture in 2013/14 season. Fenerbahçe didn't play well in the first half, but this has changed in the second half after Sow and Cristian's came in. The Coach Ersun Yenal, will probably include some changes in the first leg starting eleven, because captain, Emre Belozoglu, will be missing the second leg as he is injured. In addition to him, players: Egemen Korkmaz and Gokhan Gonul, who both failed to make the first leg, are missing again too.
The Austrian team, Salzburg, was better in the first leg; though it could not save its lead. Player, Jonathan Soriano, failed to score this time; but he is still the best player in the Austrian team. Coach, Roger Schmidt, knows well that the players have to find a goal; though it seems it's not going to be easy as Fenerbahce's defence line were pretty good in the last season while they were competing in UEFA Europa League. The fans will miss players: Isaac Vorsah, Franz Schiemer and Valentino Lazaro.

Sun Life Stadium (USA) will be hosting on 6 August 2013, an Guinness International Champions Cup match between Juventus and Inter Milan.
The all-Serie A tie will see the teams do battle to avoid finishing bottom of the pile as they target their first win in the competition. The Italian champions started with a defeat against Everton, losing 6-5 on penalties, before going down 3-1 against LA Galaxy.
However, Conte has urged his charges to up their game in Tuesday's fixture and warned against complacency in the wake of winning back-to-back league crowns.
"We need to show more hunger," he told the club's official website.
"(Gianluigi) Buffon made an important point saying he fears a possible indulgence after two consecutive championship successes and you just need to look at the goals we conceded (against Galaxy) to realise the danger is there."
Juventus are in competitive action on August 18 in the Italian Super Cup against Lazio and Conte sees the Inter match as crucial preparation.
"We must increase our concentration levels," he added. "We haven’t won a game since we’ve been here, it's now time to change that."
Inter Milan seems in the same situation, as it receives defeats against Chelsea and Valencia. Nevertheless,
manager Walter Mazzarri, didn't criticize his players after their 4-0 defeat to the Spanish side, and he claims that the players were lacking in fitness ahead of the game. For former Napoli boss, the only grievance was the comprehensive nature of the scoreline.
"You could see Valencia were much fresher," he told Inter Milan's official website. "And then you have to consider that they played their last match on July 27, while ours was three days ago.
"Right now I favour hard work and I'm looking ahead. A defeat was something we knew was always a possibility, but perhaps we could have kept the scoreline down a bit since you never like losing by that many goals," he added.
Mazzarri, who is taking charge of his first pre-season in Inter Milan, wants the defeats to serve as a motivation against Juventus.
Then he continued: "It's something I've expected from my first day here, that Inter would become competitive again."
"We need to try and give everything, playing in a convincing way. In terms of doing things automatically we’re improving. It’s certainly not easy for a new coach to start from scratch."

Possible line-ups:
Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente.
Inter Milan (4-4-2): Handanovic; Juan, Ranocchia, Samuel, Nagatomo; Obi, Cambiasso, Guarin, Alvarez; Palacio, Milito.

After its demanding match against Olympique Lyon, Grashopper Zurich team was held to a goalless draw by bottom placed Lausanne in the Swiss Super League on Saturday.Grasshoppers has done poorly if we take in considiration the fact that Lausanne made three consecutive defeats before facing GCZ. Michael Skibbe’s side will now focus on its second leg match against the French team, in which it will have to score without conceding a goal in order to at least take the tie into extra time.Although, Grasshoppers lost the first leg (0-1), its solid first half performance gives the players hope ahead of the return fixture in Switzerland.
Though, Olympique Lyon is not in its best form, it could be happy with the first leg result and, luckily for it, it managed to win the first match against the Swiss team without conceding.
Alexandre Lacazette and Grenier were not able to convert their opportunities against GCZ, so the French team needed a defender to put them ahead. Bisevac’s excellent header made the difference at Stade Gerland last week.
By the time, Olympique Lyon’s officials are still working on improving the squad, on Thursday they’ve announced the transfer of left-back Henri Bedimo from Montpelliers, who would be joining Lyon on a three-year-deal.

Possible line-ups:
Grasshopper Zurich: Bürki – Lang, Vilotic, Grichting, Pavlovic – Salatic (cap), Abrashi, Hairovic, Toko, Gashi – Ngamukol.
