Anfield, England will be hosting on Sunday 1st September 2013, an English Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United. The match referee will be Andre Marriner.
Liverpool made a very good start in the Premier League campaign. It made one win at home against Stoke, and followed that up with a
win away against Aston Villa. Liverpool, though, had to play 120 minutes
of League Cup play to defeat Notts County this midweek and after scoring 2 goals, it let County back into the game, which is something that Brendan Rodgers will
not be happy about.
Liverpool will have to play without Kolo Toure (Central
Defender), who has been great so far with solid defending, and also being
a threat up front on set pieces. And it may also miss Aly Cissokho (Left back/Left Midfield). Also central defender Martin Skrtl who has been been injured is still in doubt. Sebastian
Coates, central defender as well is out for the full season and fringe midfielder, Joe Allen, is probably out too.
Manchester United made a great win against Swansea 4-1. And against Chelsea in Old Trafford the game ended 0-0. Manchester has no new
injury worries, though Hernandez (Striker), Fletcher
(Midfielder), Nani (wing) and Rafael (full back) are all still out.
Possible line-ups:
Liverpool ( 4-4-1-1): Mignolet; Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique; Lucas, Gerrard; Henderson, Aspas, Coutinho; Sturridge.
Manchester United (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Era; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Young; Van Persie.
