Real Madrid vs PSG - Competition: UEFA Champions League

A disastrous domestic season sees Real Madrid 4th in La Liga table, 17 points behind leaders and arch rivals Barcelona with one game in hand. They hammered Real Sociedad 5-2 in a home fixture at the weekend but their home record comprises of 7 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Zinedine Zidane's men have struggled for consistency throughout the UCL too, having finished runner up to Tottenham in the group stage, which also included APOEL and Borussia Dortmund.
Daniel Carvajal is suspended for the first leg, and Nacho is expected to deputise at right back rather than the youngster Achraf Hakimi. Casemiro was rested at the weekend and will return to the starting XI, forming the usual midfield trio with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Up front, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale are expected to feature from the off, with Marcos Asensio and Isco providing viable alternatives.

Paris Saint-Germain team are expected to complete a clean sweep of all domestic trophies in France. Les Parisiens are 12 points clear at the top and have only dropped 10 points all season. They comfortably won their UCL group, winning their first 5 matches to seal the deal before they lost 3-1 to Bayern in Munich in the last fixture. The French champions recorded two big away wins at Anderlecht (4-0) and Celtic (5-0) and scored a whopping 25 goals in 6 games. PSG's last 13 UCL games have all seen over 2.5 goals scored.
Veteran midfielder Thiago Motta is ruled out through injury. as a result, Giovani Lo Celso is expected to join Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti in the middle of the park. Layvin Kurzawa and Edinson Cavani both missed the win over Toulouse but they could both return here. The former will form the four man backline alongside Marquinhos, Dani Alves and Layvin Kurzawa while the Uruguayan will start as central forward with Neymar and Kylian Mbappè on his flanks. Julian Draxler and Angel di Maria will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Juventus vs Tottenham - Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: 13 February 2018 - Kick-off Time: 19:45 GMT - 20:45 CET
Venue: Allianz Stadium, Torino
Juventus team enter this clash in impressive form. Following their success at Fiorentina last Friday (0-2), they have won 11 consecutive matches across all competitions and have conceded just one goal in the last 16 outings. Anyway, Max Allegri's men are still one point shy of Serie A leaders Napoli. The Bianconeri finished runenr up to Barcelona in UCL Group D with 11 points, after beating Olympiacos twice, taking four points from the double match against Sporting Lisbon, and drawing 0-0 at home to Barcelona. Juventus and Tottenham have never met on International stage but played two firendlies in recent years - the Italians won 2-1 in Melbourne back in 2016 and lost to Spurs 2-0 in a final pre-season warm-up in August 2017.
Argentine talisman Paulo Dybala is a doubt for the game, along with Blaise Matuidi, Andrea Barzagli, Benedikt Howedes and Juan Cuadrado who are alle expected to miss the match. Max Allegri is expected to play with a 4-3-3 formation in which Gonzalo Higuain will be the central forward. Mario Mandzukic also look sure to start up front, while Douglas Costa is favourite over Federico Bernardeschi to earn the last available berth. The likes of Claudio Marchisio, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic will continue in midfield while Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio are expected to start as full backs, with Giorgio Chiellini partnered by Mehdi Benatia at the heart of the back.

Tottenham team defeated bitter rivals Arsenal on Saturday, thanks to a Harry Kane header in the North London derby. Spurs also recorded a 2-0 win over Man Utd and a 2-2 draw with Liverpool team at Anfield in recent weeks. They sit 4th in the Premier League standings, a whopping 20 points behind league leaders Man City. Spurs comfortably won their Champions League Group, picking up 16 points to finish ahead of Real Madrid, Dortmund and APOEL. They beat Dortmund and APOEL on their travels, and earned a hard-fought 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Anyway, their recent away form leaves little to the imagination. Spurs failed to win in three on the road and have won only two of their last 8 outings away from Wembley.
Spurs have no notable injuries. Toby Alderweireld and Harry Winks have only recently come back so it is likely they will be rested for the tie. Mauricio Pochettino should play with a more defensive 4-3-2-1 formation with Victor Wanyama replacing Son Heung Min in order to strenghten the midfield, alongside Mousa Dembelè and Eric Dier. The Spurs boss may bring Serge Aurier in for Kieran Trippier at right-back while Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies will retain their starting berth. Up front, Harry Kane will be supported by Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen as usual, with Son and Fernando Llorente providing alternatives.

Probable lineups:
Juventus: Buffon – de Sciglio, Benatia, Chiellini, Alex Sandro – Khedira, Pjanic, Marchisio – Douglas Costa, Higuain, Mandzukic.
Tottenham: Lloris – Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies – Wanyama, Dier, Dembele – Alli, Eriksen – Kane.

Juventus last 5 matches:
22/01/18 Juventus 1 – 0 Genoa
27/01/18 Chievo 0 – 2 Juventus
30/01/18 Atalanta 0 – 1 Juventus
04/02/18 Juventus 7 – 0 Sassuolo
09/02/18 Fiorentina 0 – 2 Juventus

Tottenham last 5 matches:
27/01/18 Newport County 1 – 1 Tottenham

Liverpool vs Tottenham - Competition: Premier League
Date: 4 February 2018 - Kick-off Time: 16:30 GMT
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool team enter this match on the back of a 3-0 win over Huddersfield in midfield, a result which ended a run of back to back defeats for Jurgen Klopp's side and lifted them into third place in the top-flight. They are unbeaten at home in Premier League this season and only Man United have conceded fewer goals in front of their own fans.  The Reds saw a 19-match unbeaten run at Anfield ended by West Brom in the English FA Cup fourth round last weekend, but they handed Man City their only defeat of the season in their last home league game and are unbeaten in the last 12 home matches against the other 'big 6' teams.
Virgil van Dijk is expected to return to the starting XI, replacing Dejan Lovren at the heat of the back. Adam Lallana and Ragnar Klavan are doubts and will be assessed closer to kick off while Nathaniel Clyne is the only missing player for the hosts. Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are in contention to replace Milner in midfield, while Emre Can and Jordan Henderson will retain their spot. No changes are expected up front, where Sadio Manè, Salah and Roberto Firmino will feature from the off, with Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings providing cover.
Tottenham team recorded a 2-0 victory over Manchester United in midweek - breaking the deadlock after only 11 seconds through Christian Eriksen - and now sit 5ht in the Premier League standings, 2 points shy of 3rd placed Liverpool and six points clear of North London rivals Arsenal in sixth. Mauricio Pochettino's men are on a 9-match unbeaten run and Manchester City are the only team to have beaten them since November. Anyway, they have stuttered away from home in recent weeks, winning just two of their last seven games on the travels. Spurs enjoyed a fantastic 4-1 win against the Reds when they met at Wembley back in October. Anyway, they remain  winless in their last seven trips to Anfield, though, including a 2-0 defeat there last season when Sadio Mane scored both goals.
Mauricio Pochettino seems unlikely to make changes following the impressive performance against Manchester United. Serge Aurier and Harry Winks have both returned to full training, but Kieran Trippier and Mousa Dembelè should be preferred to them. Toby Alderweireld also overcame a hamstring problem and will make the bench, as well as new signing Lucas Moura. The likes of Son Heung Min, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen will support the lone striker Harry Kane up front. In defense, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen will form the central pair, with Ben Davies as left back.
