Bayern Munich team dropped their first league points of the season in a 0-0 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday but theyset a new record in the German top flight by winning their opening 10 fixtures, scoring 33 goals and conceding a meagre four in the process. Furthermore, the Bavarians have won their last seven at home in the UCL, keeping five clean sheets and conceding just 3 goals in the process.
Guardiola is likely to deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation with Thomas Muller, Douglas Costa, Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski up front. Javi Martinez may start at centre-back after an impressive outing at Frankfurt as Holger Badstuber and Juan Bernat are both doubts. Ribery, Mario Gotze and Sebastian Rode are all unavailable.
Arsenal beat Bayern 2-0 in the Group F matchday 3, but the Gunners have only three points after three games as they lose 2-1 in Zagreb and suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Olympiakos. Anyway, Arsene Wenger’s side also come into this fixture having won seven of their last nine matches in all competitions, a run that includes the 3-0 success at Swansea City at the weekend.
