Everton vs Manchester City - Competition: Capital One Cup
Everton have won just three of their 11 home league games so far this
season and enter the match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Spurs
at their own turf. The Toffees are struggling at the back - they have
conceded 20 league goals at home so far this season (and just nine
away). The Merseysiders have defeated Barnsley, Reading, Norwich and
Middlesbrough to come all the way to the semi-finals.
Captain Phil Jagielka and midfielder Steven Pienaar are unlikely to be risked. James McCarthy is likely to be out of action until the end of the month with a hip injury. Joel Robles is expected to replace Tim Howard between the posts while Romelu Lukaku is expected to retain his berth up front. Kevin Mirallas, Gerard Deulofeu, Muhamed Besic and Brendan Galloway are also in line to start.

away victory since 12 September. Manuel Pellegrini's men have eliminated
the likes of Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Hull City in the League Cup
so far.
