Valencia's journey in Europa League is under serious threat as they were beaten comfortably by FC Baasel on the first leg of their two legged tie.

The home side were looking determined in giving something special for their loyal fans and they got things going on 34 minutes through Matias Delgado's effort.

Delgado continue to cause problems for El Che during that first half as four minutes after opening the score, he grabbed his second to give Basel a comfortable two goals lead as they go into half time break.

Already taking a 2-0 lead didn't stop Basel from pouring forward as they kept on the pressure and eventually adding a third one in stoppage time, courtesy of Valentin Stocker's goal.
