Chelsea survived a scare as they advanced into
the next round of Champions League after defeating Paris Saint-Germain
in the second leg of their quarter finals battle on Tuesday.
Losing 3-1 in the first meeting, Jose Mourinho's men were determined in grabbing at least a 2-0 victory on that day. It was not an easy game for Chelsea, especially early on as Paris Saint-Germain looking pretty comfortable and solid when defending.
However,
from a set piece situation, Mourinho's men were able to take an
advantage as they got themselves in front through Andre Schurlle's
finish.
That goal increased the tension as Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on
seeking for that important away goal that should confirmed their
passage.
The game continue to look tight, though Chelsea did
create a bit more opportunities, but still having problems in breaking
down Laurent Blanc's side.
However, late in the match, luck
finally flew into PSG's favor as Demba Ba snatched an important late
goal which secured Chelsea's passage in the semifinals of Champions
League.
