Inter Milan still can't get things going well
in this early 2014 as after suffering a disappointing Serie A defeat
over Lazio last weekend, Nerazzurri found themselves eliminated from
Coppa Italia battle after being defeated by Udinese this midweek.
Putting out a pretty solid squad on paper, Inter tried to take control
of proceedings, but their opponent put on a solid display as they don't
want to lose face in front of their home crowd.
Eventually, it was
the home side that got things going as on 32 minutes a swift attacking
move resulted in the opening goal, which was scored by Maicosuel. That
goal didn't only last until half time break but turned out to be the
math decided as no more goals were scored by either teams up till the
final whistle was blown. It was definitely a disappointing result for
Inter as their ambition in starting off the 2014 brightly still hasn't
come off well.
