Turkey vs Croatia - Competition: Euro 2016 - Group D

Turkey team qualified from Group A after finishing 3rd with 18 points. Wins over the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Iceland in their final three Group A qualifiers secured their place in France. They have won four of their last five friendlies, with their only defeat coming at Wembley against England, courtesy of a sole goal scored by Jamie Vardy.
The biggest worry for Fatih Terim will be lack of playing time for star striker Burak Yilmaz, who recently returned from an injury. As consequence, Besiktas' Cenk Tosun is an option for Terim. Emre Mor, who recently secured a big money switch to Borussia Dortmund, is pushing for a start, but Fatih Terim may utilise the teenager from the bench.
Croatia team advanced to Euro 2016 as Group H runners-up in qualifying, 4 points behind Italy, after an impressive campaign that saw them lose only one game (2-0 away to Norway). They hammered Norway 5-1, while putting three goals past Bulgaria as well as Russia, the latter coming in a recent friendly. The Balkan team enter this match from a 10-0 mauling of San Marino in their last friendly.
Ante Cacic is expected to start with a 4-3-2-1 formation as he has no injury concerns. Brozovic and Milan Badelj are in contention for a starting place in midfield. Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic is expected to lead the attack, supported by Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic and Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic.

Probable lineups:
Turkey (4-5-1): Babacan; Gonul, Topal, Balta, Erkin; Calhanoglu, Tufan, Inan, Ozyakup, Turan; Yilmaz.
Croatia (4-2-3-1): Subasic; Srna, Corluka, Vida, Vrsaljko; Modric, Brozovic, Rakitic, Perisic, Kovacic; Mandzukic.
