Hampden Park, Scotland will be hosting on 6 September 2013, an World Cup qualifier match between Scotland and Belgium. The match referee will be Paolo Tagliavento (Italy).
Scotland's team doesn't look in a very good form these days, and since the European championship 1998 it has been waiting to qualify for a major tournament. Scotland will miss the upcoming World Cup, as it is ranked second to last in its group behind Wales. The team hasn't won a single match at home in this qualifying campaign and it made two draws: one against Macedonia 1-1 and another one against Serbia 0-0. Last June, in Croatia, the team made a victory 1-0.  And it lost the match against England at Wembley after that 2-3.
Belgium, on the other hand, faild to qualify for a major tournament since 2002, though its current team attracts attention. As several young talents have gained acceptance in international top clubs recently. These players are: Vertonghen (Tottenham), Fellaini (Everton), Kompany (Manchester City), Benteke (Aston Villa) Hazard, Lukaku, de Bruyne (all Chelsea), and are regular players in better Premier League teams and are also on course for Brazil 2014 with their national team. Belgium lost only one single point in qualification group A when played at home against Croatia 1-1 and it would be in a good position for the crucial rematch in Croatia on October, 11th, if it wins in Glasgow on Friday.

Possible line-ups:
Scotland (4-5-1): Marshall; Mulgrew, Martin, Hanley, Whittaker; Brown, Maloney, Snodgrass, Forrest, Dorrans; Rhodes.
Belgium (4-3-3): Mignolet; Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Van Buyten, Lombaerts; Fellaini, Witsel, Dembele; Hazard, De Bruyne; Benteke.
