Juventus vs Parma - Competition: Italy, Serie A, Game week 30th
Juventus march at the
head of Italian Serie A. With 78 points they are 1st. The second AS
Roma lose to the Bianconeri 14 points (but played one game less). Having
only 9 matches to be still played, it seems fairly impossible for
Juventus to end the league without the title. Juventus won their last
league clash after a fiery encounter with Catania. It was Carlos Tevez
who scored the only goal and secured 3 points to his team. With this
goal, the Argentinian drew level in the scoring charts with Torino’s
Immobile, who after a last treble has 16 goals scored in the league.
During the game Juve’s manager, Antonio Conte, was sent to the stands
for first half’s protests.
Parma team are now 5th in
the table. After their last weekend’s draw with Parma on the road they
leveled with Inter having now 47 points. However, Parma have got a game
in hand. Roberto Donadoni may feel proud of his team’s league
performance; the Crusaders have been undefeated for the last 17 league
games! The last game that they lost in league was a clash against
Juventus on their own stadium (0:1). Parma have got pretty good chance
to take an Europa League spot. Yet, they must beware of Inter and 7th
Lazio. As far as the last five games are concerned Parma won three of
them (surprisingly against Milan at San Siro, against Hellas Verona and
Sassuolo).
