Manchester United vs Bayern Munich - Champions League, Quarterfinal

Manchester United come into this match on the back of a solid 4-1 win over Aston Villa. A couple of weeks ago, Moyes' men produced a stirring comeback in the round of 16, losing 2-0 to Olympiacos in Greece before Van Persie's hat-trick turned the tie around at Old Trafford.
But the Dutchman will be sidelined for this crucial match due to a knee injury. Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling are sidelined through injury too, whilst Patrice Evra misses out through suspension. Buttner will be selected to provide cover and have the mammoth task of trying to keep Arjen Robben in check. They will definitely be without the cup-tied Mata. Furthermore, Valencia and Rafael are both doubtful.
Pep Guardiola’s team have already secured the Bundesliga title. They come into this match on the back of a 3-3 draw against Hoffenheim, only the third time this season that Pep Guardiola's men have dropped points in the league.
The Spanish manager rested several key players on Saturday, including the likes of Thomas Muller, Phillip Lahm and Arjen Robben. They will be included in the starting XI. Dante misses out through suspension so Javi Martínez will play at centre-back while Thiago Alcantara 'partially tore' a ligament in his knee at the weekend and will be out for 6 to 8 weeks.
Manchester United have won all of their home games in this year’s competition but that record will be severely tested against a German side who have not lost away from home in the Champions League since October 2012.
The Bavarians are back in Manchester after being paired with City in the group stage, a group they topped with five straight wins. They beat City 3-1 at the Etihad with an ultra impressive display but despite taking a 2-0 lead early doors on Matchday 6, City ran out 3-2 winners in Munich.

Possible line ups:
-Manchester United (4-4-1-1): De Gea – Rafael, Vidic, Jones, Buttner – Valencia, Carrick, Fellaini, Kagawa – Mata – Rooney.
-Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1):
Neuer – Rafinha, Boateng, Martinez, Alaba – Schweinsteiger, Lahm – Robben, Kroos, Ribery – Mandzukic.
