The last time that Malmo FF took part in the Europa League was in 2011, when they gained just a single point and became last in their group. After a third place in the Allsvenskan league last year, they are on the third position again at the moment, managed to win three games in a row before lost 1:3 at home against BK Hacken last Thursday. Coach Rikard Norling usually plays an offensive 3-4-3 system. With Jansson, Pekalski and Hamad he has three young players in his squad, who already played for the Swedish national team.
