Liberty Stadium, Swansea will be hosting on 17 August 2013, an English Premier League match(Round 1) between Swansea City and Manchester United.
Manager, Michael Laudrup, is going to start his second season at the helm after leading
Swansea to the 9th place finish in the last season's final table. New in the team, Wilfried Bony, is expected to start up in the front with the last season's
top goalscorer, Michu, in the slot just behind. Swansea made an amazing pre-season tour, where it went 6-0-1 before defeating Malmo FF
4-0 on aggregate in Europa League qualifiers.
On the other side, manager David Moyes, has struggled to find his footing in the pre-season after
taking over for Sir Alex at the end of the last term. Moyes, in addition to the
red half of Manchester, will be happy that the team emerged victorious in
its first competitive fixture against Wigan in the Community Shield
last week. Great player, Robin van Persie, gave Manchester United the
victory after scoring two goals, and will hope for a similar performance against Swansea in
Saturday's feature match.
